William Bill Frazier obit photoWilliam “Bill” Eleyhue Frazier, 85, of Green City, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan, Missouri.

Bill was born on November 21, 1938, in Milan, to Eleyhue and Genevieve Frazier. He graduated from Milan High School in 1957. He then served two years in the Army stationed in Germany. On December 23, 1961, Bill married Elaine (Jacobs) Frazier at the Green City Assembly of God Church. Bill was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Green City for over 50 years where he served as a board member and Sunday School Superintendent.

In 1977 they started their family-owned and operated concrete construction business, Frazier‘s Foundation Co., where the entire family worked as a team and where Bill believed in hard work, being an honest man, and always doing your best. He loved to play pitch with the pitch club and was an avid quail hunter. He was also a member of the Missouri Trap Shooting Association and Missouri Sporting Clay Association.

Bill is survived by his wife Elaine of the home, two sons; Mark Frazier of Milan, Missouri, and Matthew Frazier of Green City, Missouri, many chosen sons, daughters, and grandchildren, a foster brother, Jerry Elliott of Reno, Nevada, a cousin Gail (Frazier) Smith of D’lberville, Mississippi, and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Lee “Dutch Frazier.

Funeral services for Bill will be held at 2:30 PM, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Green City, Missouri. A visitation will be held one hour and a half before the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Green City, Missouri.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Green City or Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.
