The Grundy County Emergency Management Agency will conduct a community disaster exercise in Trenton on September 21st from 8 a.m. to noon.
The agency reports that the event will require numerous volunteers. Participants will play roles such as residents needing evacuation from a long-term care facility and workers at a simulated chemical plant during the exercise.
Further details about the event will be released later this month.
