ATV crash in Livingston County results in injuries to Hale teenager

Aiden T. Foster, a 19-year-old man from Hale, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries in an accident involving a 2008 Honda Rancher 4-wheeler. The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. on August 3, 2024, at the intersection of Livingston 230th and Livingston 277th, about two miles north of Wheeling.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Foster was driving eastbound when the ATV went through a T-intersection, continued through a fence, and struck a guidewire. The vehicle overturned, ejecting Foster, and eventually came to rest on its wheels facing west.

Foster, who was not wearing safety gear at the time of the crash, was transported by private vehicle to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe for treatment.

The accident was investigated by Corporal B. N. Raney, with assistance from Sergeant J. C. Gilliland and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.
