Mary A. Parker, age 82, of Gallatin, MO, passed away Sunday morning, July 21, 2024, at her home in Gallatin.
Mary was born on January 3, 1942, the daughter of Ernest and Florence Kreamalmeyer in Cherryville, MO. Mary was raised by Les and Betty Cason. She grew up in Steelville, MO, and attended North Kansas City High School. She married the love of her life, Billy Jean Parker, on September 20, 1958, in Kansas City. Mary loved her cattle and life on the farm, where she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up and ride horses. She also liked to shop and enjoyed sewing earlier in her life. Mary enjoyed listening to country music, especially while she cleaned her house. Mary liked getting together, particularly for BBQs and fish fries. Mary’s loving and ornery spirit will be missed.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Jean Parker; siblings; and granddaughter, Shaneil. She is survived by her children, Sharon Smith (Kenny) of Gallatin, MO, Bill Parker (Teresa) of Jamesport, MO, Kenny Parker (Lisa) of Holt, MO, and Barb Weybrew (Sydney) of Maryville, MO; grandchildren, Ronnie, Jennifer, Bobbie, Billie Rae, Katey, Tyler, Jonathan, and Austin; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Kaydi, Wyatt, Alyssa, Kody, Rylee, Emma, Izzy, Morgan, Taylor, Lila, Elly, Ava, and AshLynn; sister, Garneth Trimbo; and other extended family members.
The family will gather with friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin. Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin (660) 663-2117.
