The Upward Bound program at North Central Missouri College (NCMC) in Trenton, Missouri, is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. High school students from Brookfield, Chillicothe, Gallatin, Hamilton, Trenton, and Tri-County are encouraged to apply through their respective high school offices or by visiting the program’s website.
The deadline to submit applications is September 12, 2024.
Upward Bound is designed to assist students in overcoming barriers related to class, social status, academic challenges, and cultural differences, providing them with the necessary tools to pursue higher education. The program offers a range of services, including academic instruction, advising, tutoring, motivational and study skills workshops, college visits, and a culturally enriching summer component.
