A Unionville man has been charged with several felonies in Putnam County following allegations of stalking, harassment, and property damage.

Tyson Dean Alexander, 37, is facing charges of first-degree stalking involving a first offense, first-degree harassment, first-degree property damage, and first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Alexander is currently being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 26.

A probable cause statement alleges that Alexander allowed another individual to key a vehicle belonging to someone else while it was parked at a mechanic shop between May 20 and June 2. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at more than $750.

Alexander is also accused of knowing that bleach was poured into a boat’s gas tank, resulting in mechanical issues. The estimated replacement cost for the boat is between $12,000 and $12,500.

The probable cause statement further notes that a person had to change her phone number, block messages and emails, and contact a flower shop to stop the delivery of unwanted flowers allegedly sent by Alexander. He is also accused of referring to the person in Facebook posts, making threats to harm her pet, and threatening to throw bombs in her yard.
