Two girls riding an all-terrain vehicle were injured near Farmersville early Monday evening when they were ejected from the ATV.
The highway patrol reports the 13 and 14-year-old girls from Trenton were taken by a private vehicle to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe. A trooper said the 14-year-old received moderate injuries while the 13-year-old had minor injuries.
Neither girl was using a safety device. The highway patrol withholds the names of juveniles involved in accidents.
The report states the 14-year-old was driving the ATV eastbound on LIV 235 when it failed to make a left turn and went off the west side of the road where it overturned.
Damage was moderate to the ATV in the 5:35 pm Monday accident two miles west of Farmersville.
