The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two Trenton residents on Wednesday who have been accused of felony charges.
Fifty-six-year-old Donald Keith Swigart has been charged with possession of a controlled substance except for 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid. Bond is $1,500 cash only, and he is scheduled for the Associate Division of Circuit Court Tuesday.
Court documents accuse Swigart of possessing Chlordiazepoxide Hydrochloride pills, which is the generic version of Librium and is a schedule four substance.
Sixty-six-year-old Charles Burbage has been charged with passing a bad check. He posted a bond of $1,200, and he is scheduled for the Associate Division of Circuit Court on April 28th.
Court documents accuse Burbage of passing a bad check for $680, drawn upon a nonexistent account with Citizens Bank and Trust, payable to the Trenton Money Store, with the purpose to defraud and knowing it would no be paid.
