The Tri-County Board of Education has offered a new contract to Superintendent David Probasco covering the 2020 to 2022 years. The salary for the next fiscal year at the Jamesport school was set at $89,000.
Bids will be sought by the Jamesport school board for an eight-month Certificate of deposit in the amount of $150,000. The funds are to be reinvested following
the local tax dollars that come in for December and January.
A bid from Ryan Ranes was accepted to purchase surplus property, a 2004 Chevy van as is, for $350. A bid was accepted from accounting software (from Common Goal Systems) for the upcoming 2020-21 school year at Jamesport.
A PBS fundraiser was approved by the board. A school official reported the fundraiser will involve a raffle on a donated vacation package in Branson.
Missouri school board association policy updates were approved. Although the preliminary school calendar for 2020-21 was reviewed, no action was taken. There also was budget discussion at the Tri-County school board meeting with no action taken.
