Three public hearings are scheduled at Trenton City Hall on September 3.

The Trenton Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct the hearings at 6 p.m.

One hearing involves a request from the Farmer’s Bank of North Central Missouri at Trenton to allow a strip of land west of the bank to be subdivided and sold to the adjacent North Central Missouri Mental Health Center. The specific location is a grassy strip between 1601 East 28th Street and 2910 Oklahoma Avenue. This area is situated between the mental health center and State Farm Insurance/Chiro Solutions.

The Planning and Zoning Board will also hear a request from Riverside Country Club, in care of KGI Wireless on behalf of Vertical Bridge. The request seeks a conditional use permit to allow the construction of a new 155-foot monopole tower at 101 Country Club Place to provide wireless service to Verizon customers.

Additionally, businessman Vance Cox seeks a conditional use permit for two camper hookups to be located behind his business, American Sportsman LLC, at 3007 East 10th Street in Trenton.

All three hearings will be open sessions for any comments from the public. Next month’s meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, September 3, due to the Monday Labor Day holiday on September 2.
