A Trenton man is facing charges in Harrison County after he was allegedly found in a pickup truck that did not belong to him on March 21.

Court records indicate that 30-year-old Tony Clay Dittemore has been charged with felonies of possession of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, he faces a charge of misdemeanor second-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

Bond was set at $10,000, cash only. He was scheduled to appear in court on the morning of Friday, March 22.

According to a probable cause statement from Harrison County Sheriff Trevor Place, law enforcement responded to a report of trespassing in progress and found Dittemore slumped over the steering wheel of a Chevrolet pickup truck.

While Dittemore was being removed from the vehicle, a used syringe was reportedly discovered by his foot. Other items, presumed not to belong to the truck’s owner, were also found inside the vehicle. These items included dark-colored clothing, a pry bar, a hammer, a ski mask, and keys to a Dodge truck.

The statement further reveals that the Dodge truck had collided with the Chevrolet, resulting in damage to the Chevrolet and a broken taillight on the Dodge.

Additionally, a clear plastic baggy containing a white crystal residue, which later tested positive for methamphetamine, allegedly fell to the floor as Dittemore removed his socks at the Harrison County Jail.
