Trenton High School marching band takes second at Macon event

The Trenton High School marching band placed second in its class in both parade and field show judging during a festival Saturday at Macon. Trenton was in Class Three, where five schools participated in both parade and field show judging. Clark County won both events in Class Three, finishing ahead of second place Trenton by less than one point in parade judging.

Trenton and Clark County were the only two schools in Class Three indoor drumline and indoor color guard. Trenton was first in indoor drumline, while Clark County was first and Trenton took second in indoor color guard.

Checking the top two finishes by other area schools, North Harrison was first and Worth County was second among four entries in Class One indoor drumline. Worth County was first among four schools in Class One indoor color guard.

North Harrison was second among six schools in Class One parade and second among three entries in Class One field show. Kirksville was first among two schools in Class Four indoor color guard.
