There are several topics and updates scheduled for the next meeting of the Trenton Convention and Visitors Bureau on Wednesday, August 14. It’s a public meeting at noon at Trenton City Hall.
City Administrator Ron Urton is expected to provide an update on the wayfinding, or directional signs, for Trenton. Mayor Jackie Soptic will give a preview of the Governor’s Conference on Tourism, which will be held October 15-17 in Kansas City. The Convention and Visitors Bureau board will also consider having a booth at the organization fair in Trenton on August 21 for students of North Central Missouri College.
Discussion is also planned on ticket giveaways for the Leadership Northwest Missouri Music Jam and a Main Street Trenton beer stroll promotion.
Updates will be provided on digital marketing, social media, websites, and Missouri Welcome Center brochures and rack cards.
