The Trenton City Council is set to review five ordinances on April 8. The council meeting is scheduled to take place at Trenton City Hall at 7 p.m. Attendees can also join the meeting via Zoom.

Among the items on the agenda, two ordinances are focused on adopting the budgets for the City of Trenton and Trenton Municipal Utilities for the fiscal year spanning May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025. Another ordinance up for consideration aims to implement a grade scale and a merit/years of service table for city employees.

Further, two ordinances will evaluate proposals: one in collaboration with the Missouri Department of Transportation to extend the duration of an agreement for providing hot and cold mix to MoDOT, and the other with the Howe Company to submit an application for a MoDOT Transportation Alternatives Grant for sidewalk construction.

The meeting will also feature public commentary from Kelly Beets of the Missouri Intergovernmental Risk Management Association.
