Three-vehicle crash on Highway 24 injures two near Moberly

A three-vehicle crash occurred on July 4, 2024, at approximately 1:26 p.m. on Highway 24, five miles east of Moberly, Missouri. The accident involved a 2001 Honda Accord, a 2014 Toyota Tundra, and a 2014 Dodge Caravan.

Frankie J. Wilson, 70, of Moberly, was driving the 2001 Honda Accord eastbound when he attempted a left turn. He failed to yield and turned into the path of the westbound 2014 Toyota Tundra driven by Ronald L. Winn, 71, of Harrisburg. The Toyota Tundra struck the Honda Accord on the passenger side, causing the Tundra to cross the center of the roadway and collide head-on with the eastbound 2014 Dodge Caravan driven by Amanda N. Wong Loi Sing, 37, of Moberly.

The impact resulted in extensive damage to the Dodge Caravan and the total loss of the Toyota Tundra and Honda Accord. The Dodge Caravan and the Toyota Tundra were towed by Prather’s Towing of Cairo, while the Honda Accord was left on private property at the scene.

Amanda N. Wong Loi Sing sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Randolph County Ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center. Frankie J. Wilson suffered minor injuries and was also transported to the same medical facility. Ronald L. Winn was not reported injured.

All drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, and Eastern and Northeastern Randolph County Fire Departments responded to the scene.
