Three El Paso residents injured in Highway BB crash near I-35

Three El Paso residents sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Highway BB at Interstate 35 on July 7, 2024. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 8:29 a.m. in Clinton County.

The 2019 Honda Civic, driven by Colt M. Micoley, 20, of El Paso, Texas, was traveling southbound on Interstate 35 when it took the exit to Highway BB. The vehicle attempted to make a right-hand turn but traveled off the south side of the roadway and impacted a guardrail. The Honda Civic, which was totaled, came to rest upright facing south. Colt M. Micoley, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries. Ryan J. Lockridge, 20, an occupant from El Paso, Texas, was not wearing a seat belt and also sustained minor injuries. Arlene M. Cooper, 25, another occupant from El Paso, Texas, was wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries. All three individuals were transported by Cameron EMS; Micoley and Lockridge were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center, while Cooper was transported to Liberty Hospital.

The accident was assisted by Corporal J.J. Thompson and Trooper B.T. Quiring.
