Three adults, three juveniles injured in Chillicothe vehicle collision

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to an accident and a report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance on Thursday night, April 4.

Sergeant Jake Baucom reported that emergency medical services transported three adults and three juveniles to the Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of injuries following a two-vehicle collision at Washington Street and Park Lane. He stated that one vehicle, heading north on Washington Street, failed to stop at a red light and collided with another vehicle. This second vehicle was traveling west from Park Lane through the intersection.

In a separate incident, Chillicothe police officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Washington about a reported intoxicated male. Baucom noted that officers located the individual at Country Club and Lambert Drives. The male was subsequently arrested for alleged property damage, disorderly conduct, and failing to obey a lawful order. He received citations and was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
