Silver Advisory issued for missing 66-year-old from Cameron

UPDATE: The Missouri State Highway Patrol has canceled the alert as he was found safe. No other details were available.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Saturday night that an Endangered Silver Advisory Alert was issued by the Cameron Police Department for a missing 66-year-old man traveling from Cameron to Lathrop.

The man, David Eugene Lofstrom, contacted his family around 4 p.m. Saturday to inform them that his vehicle had broken down at an unknown location in Polo. His family could not reestablish contact with him and noted that he often becomes confused.

David Eugene Lofstrom is described as a white male, standing five feet ten inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right forearm. Lofstrom was last seen driving a green 1998 Chevrolet pickup with Missouri license plate 3KGA58.

Individuals with information regarding Lofstrom’s whereabouts are urged to contact the Cameron Police Department or the nearest law enforcement agency. As of this morning, there was no update from the Cameron Police Department.
