Two residents of Brookfield, Missouri, face felony charges following the execution of a search warrant at a local residence on August 29. The North Missouri Drug Task Force, Brookfield Police Department, and Linn County Sheriff’s Office conducted the search.

Court records indicate that 35-year-old Jessica Louise Irby has been charged with second-degree drug trafficking and four counts of possession of a controlled substance. She is being held without bond.

Thirty-six-year-old Paul Michael Teel Jr. is charged with possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. His bond is set at $25,000 cash, surety, or 10%. The bond conditions include a no-contact order with Irby.

Irby and Teel are scheduled for arraignment on September 3.

A probable cause statement reveals that law enforcement discovered purported methamphetamine, fentanyl, a glass vial containing purported PCP, a hand-rolled cigar dipped in purported PCP, multiple pills, and drug paraphernalia in Irby’s bedroom. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also allegedly found in the bedrooms of two children.

It is noted that Irby is a convicted felon in Missouri with prior narcotic-related charges.

Another probable cause statement alleges that Teel attempted to flee from officers into a bathroom, where he tried to flush a cellophane wrapper containing a crystal substance. A field test reportedly identified the substance as methamphetamine.
