Westlake Ace Hardware and the Salvation Army in Chillicothe will host a fan drive next week. Box fans will be distributed at the Salvation Army office starting July 22.
Salvation Army Director Lynda Snuffer mentioned that individuals who received a fan last year will be placed on a waiting list. This process ensures the organization can first cater to new applicants before distributing any remaining fans to those on the waiting list.
Fans are available to residents of Grundy and Livingston counties. Interested individuals should contact the Salvation Army at 660-646-3538 to register for a free fan and complete an intake form. Snuffer explained that the intake form is a standard procedure for all recipients of the organization’s services.
