Route DD crash near Moberly sends driver to University Hospital

On August 7, 2024, at approximately 1:35 p.m., a crash occurred on Route DD, two miles north of Moberly. The crash involved a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Susan M. Karg, 66, of Huntsville, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Isuzu Rodeo was traveling southbound when it ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Prathers Wrecker.

Susan Karg, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. She suffered serious injuries and was transported by Randolph County Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.

The accident was assisted by Trooper Miller, the Westran Fire Department, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, and the Randolph County Ambulance.
