Progress reported on several construction projects in Trenton

A written report presented to the city council outlined progress on various construction projects in Trenton. The details were provided in a monthly report by Building Inspector and Code Officer Wes Barone.

For the new Wesley United Methodist Church at 9th and Washington Streets, contractors have staked out footers and are preparing to begin construction.

Regarding the Amazon distribution pod, contractors have poured footers and connected electricity to the building site in the southeast corner of Hostetler’s parking lot.

At Preferred Family Health Care on Oklahoma Avenue, preparations are underway to dig footers and install under-concrete plumbing.

In the Harp business building on Main Street, electrical and plumbing work is ongoing inside.

Indoor construction continues at the Animal Kingdom Veterinary Clinic on Kerfoot Street.

Framing work has begun for the Taco Bell Restaurant at 9th and Oklahoma Avenue. Grease traps and sewer hookups have been completed.

Framing work is also progressing for the Student Center along Main Street at North Central Missouri College. Under-concrete plumbing is finished.

The report also noted that 12 aircraft were based at the Trenton airport in July.
