Princeton City Council addresses parking issues, 2 file for city council seats

The Princeton City Council January 5th approved selling old street signs that have been taken down. City Clerk Cory Willett reports the signs will be sold for $10 each.

The council also addressed complaints regarding parking on Main Street and disabled vehicles on U. S. Highway 65. Letters are to be sent to property owners to ask them to move the vehicles.

Philip Wilson with McClure Engineering sent a letter with updates on upgrades to Princeton’s water system.

Incumbents filed for the Princeton City Council election on April 5th. The candidates are Karee Cunningham for the South Ward and Tony Johnson for the North Ward. They are unopposed.

Kurt Meighen is a write-in candidate for mayor. He is also an incumbent.
