Princeton and North Mercer Boards of Education to Meet on April 8

The Princeton R-5 Board of Education will hold a reorganizational meeting and regular meeting on April 8. The reorganizational meeting will take place in the high school library at 5:30 p.m.

The regular meeting will follow at 5:35 p.m. The agenda includes bid review and approval of a new school bus, proposed tuition, a summer school grant opportunity, a financial update, an athletics and activities presentation, and a potential random student drug testing program.

The agenda for the regular Princeton Board of Education meeting on April 8 also includes a closed session for employees, individual identifiable records and ratings, and records protected from disclosure by law.

The North Mercer R-3 Board of Education will discuss textbook quotes on April 8. The board will meet at the school at 6 p.m.

Other items on the agenda include certification of election results, the oath of office, an election of officers, authorization of new bank account signatures, Future Business Leaders of America Parliamentary Team and senior class presentations, and a Comprehensive School Improvement Plan update. There will also be discussions of years of service awards, the Missouri State High School Activities Association dead period dates, summer projects, boiler repair, and the May board meeting date.

The agenda for the North Mercer Board of Education meeting on April 8 also includes an executive session for employees and identifiable records.
