Personal watercraft accident on Table Rock Lake injures Iowa woman

A watercraft accident on Table Rock Lake, one-half mile south of Blue Eye near Point 2, resulted in two injuries on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at approximately 11 a.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when a 2014 Sea-Doo personal watercraft, driven by a 13-year-old girl from Clive, Iowa, attempted to jump a wake. Both occupants of the watercraft were ejected.

The driver, who was wearing a flotation device, sustained no injuries and was able to drive the watercraft from the scene, however, the passenger, identified as Kyra Moore, 52, also from Clive, Iowa, was not wearing a flotation device and suffered moderate injuries. Moore was transported to Cox South Hospital in Branson, Missouri, for treatment.

The Sea-Doo sustained no damage in the incident, and no other vehicles or persons were involved. The watercraft was insured by Signa.
