Eldo Eaglen obit photoEldo “Buster” Emerson Eaglen III, 52, of Milan, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Mosaic Life Center in St. Joseph, Missouri, he was an advocate for organ donation and continued the gift of Life.

Eldo was born on May 11, 1971, to Eldo “Butch” Eaglen Jr. and Cheryl Sue (Gragg) Eaglen. He is survived by one son, Bodie (Joana) Eaglen of Milan, daughter, Catherine (Wyatt) Nickell of Seymour, Iowa, Mother of his children Toni Eaglen of Milan, grandchildren, Keylee Jacobs, Adela Eaglen, Kellan Eaglen, Kaya Eaglen and Braesyn Nickell, sister, Kara (Eaglen) Segal of Polo, Missouri, niece, Kylee Eaglen, nephew, Aden Segal, and significant other, Amy Henderson of St. Joseph; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kevin Jacobs, niece, Hanna Mariee Segal, and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Eldo spent most of his life in the Milan area, graduating from Milan High School in 1989. He enjoyed mushroom hunting with his mushroom princess and fishing with his boys. He also enjoyed gardening. He coached football in the area for many years and was an avid Wildcat fan.

A graveside service for Eldo will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Lonesome Pine Cemetery, Northwest of Milan. A visitation is scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
