The North Missouri Sportsman’s Alliance will host its annual deer scoring event in Chillicothe. This complimentary event is scheduled at the Celebrations Event Hall on March 23. Deer racks can be submitted from 9 a.m. to noon, with measuring concluding approximately at 4 p.m.

Experts certified by Pope and Young, Boone and Crockett, and the Missouri Big Bucks will evaluate the submissions.

Upon arrival, hunters will register, assigning their antlers a sequence number based on their order of submission. North Missouri Sportsman’s Alliance President Steve Shoot mentioned that antlers would be assessed sequentially. The sole exception applies to antlers needing Boone and Crockett or Pope and Young certification for scoring.

Participants are permitted to remain in the scoring area while their antlers are evaluated. They will be queried on various details, including the method of deer harvest alongside their personal information.

In collaboration with the Missouri Department of Conservation, the North Missouri Sportsman’s Alliance is proud to facilitate this event in Chillicothe on March 23.
