The annual Flower Show at the North Central Missouri Fair is set to take place from August 1st through 3rd. The event, which will be held in the Trenton Rock Barn, welcomes flower entries on August 1st from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Participants can submit specimens, potted plants, and floral designs.
In a collaborative effort, Vintage Vines and Fair Winds Flower Farm will provide flowers and greenery for youth participants to create single displays for entry. Representatives from these farms, along with The Community Garden, will assist children with their design entries, fostering a spirit of creativity and community involvement.
Hy-Vee has generously donated prizes for participants in the flower show. Entrants can pick up their plants and awards on August 3rd between 10:00 AM and noon.
For those interested in participating, flower entry guidelines are available for pick up at KTTN Radio, the Grundy County Jewett Norris Library, Howard’s Department Store, and Vintage Vines. Additionally, guidelines can be accessed on the North Central Missouri Fair’s Facebook page.
