The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is developing a comprehensive list of potential road and bridge improvements for northwest Missouri, contingent on future funding availability. MoDOT has scheduled a public meeting at Trenton for residents to review the project list and provide feedback on prioritization.

The meeting is set for 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the NCMC Barton Farm Campus, located on the southeast edge of Trenton. Attendees will have the opportunity to examine a draft of MoDOT’s high-priority unfunded needs list for transportation projects.

MoDOT and its regional planning partners have identified over $1.1 billion in annual spending requirements for road and bridge improvements. This list serves as a guide for future project development, pending the availability of state and federal transportation funds.

Additionally, MoDOT has made the draft document and comment forms available online for public review and feedback through August 23rd. Interested individuals can visit the Missouri Department of Transportation website to access these materials.
