Moberly man injured in Monroe County crash

A single-vehicle accident occurred on August 18, 2024, at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Monroe County Road 1050, about half a mile west of Middle Grove, Missouri. The incident involved a 2007 Crown Victoria driven by Seth C. Rupp, a 27-year-old man from Moberly, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Rupp was southbound, pursuing another vehicle when he lost control, causing the Crown Victoria to veer off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a ditch and a fence, resulting in moderate damage to the car.

Rupp, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, sustained minor injuries. He was transported by Monroe County Ambulance to Moberly Regional Hospital for treatment.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Prathers Wrecker.

The accident was assisted by Monroe and Randolph County Sheriff’s Departments, along with Master Sergeant Mattingly.
