The Scholar Bowl State Tournament is taking place at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
For area schools, Linn County triumphed over King City in the Class 1 quarterfinals on April 23. Linn County is set to face Mound City in the semifinals on May 3 at noon.
Polo’s Scholar Bowl team secured a victory against Schuyler County in the Class 2 quarterfinals on April 23. Polo will compete against Weaubleau in the semifinals on May 3 at noon.
