Milan man ejected in Highway 6 crash east of Green Castle

A 24-year-old Milan, Missouri, man was involved in a single-vehicle crash on August 21, 2024, at approximately 7:10 a.m. on Highway 6, two miles east of Green Castle, Missouri.

The crash occurred when Abraham Arzola was driving a 2000 Nissan Altima eastbound. The vehicle traveled off the north side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting Arzola. The vehicle came to rest on top of the driver.

Arzola, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained moderate injuries. He was transported by Adair County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The 2000 Nissan Altima was totaled and towed from the scene by Lakeside Towing.

The Adair County Sheriff’s Office, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Adair County Ambulance, Kirksville Fire Department, and MU4 assisted at the scene.
