The Mercer County Fair recently showcased the talents of young 4-H members during its annual Achievement Day. With a total of 41 entries submitted by 16 county youths, the event highlighted an array of impressive projects and accomplishments. Of these entries, 17 projects have been selected to advance to the state level.
Notable among the achievements were several members of the Pine Evershine Club and the Moss Ranger Club who received blue ribbons and top honors:

- Emily Oswalt, Pine Evershine: Reese’s Cookies and Peanut Butter the Pig (Best in Show, State Fair)
- Alexis Shurke, Pine Evershine: Mom and Baby (Best in Show, State Fair)

The event featured participants across different age groups, including five Clover Kids and 11 4-H youth, all contributing to the showcase of skills and creativity at the fair.
