In an effort to avoid spreading the coronavirus, or COVID-19, the employees of the Mercer County Courthouse are taking precautions to limit in-person contact.

Individuals may call any of the courthouse offices to inquire if business can be by telephone.

Courthouse staff asks that if individuals are feeling sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and shortness of breath, or have been diagnosed with or believe to have contracted COVID-19, that those individuals do not enter the courthouse, even by appointment.

The Mercer County Clerks office is still taking filings for August Primary Election through March 315 at 5:00 p.m. Call 660-748-3425 for access-appointment.

Assessment sheets can be placed in the drop off box inside the east entrance.
