Main Street Chillicothe is gearing up for its annual BooFest, inviting superheroes, ghosts, and goblins to gather for a community trick-or-treat event. Scheduled for Tuesday, October 31, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., families and children are encouraged to roam the downtown square in their Halloween best.
This event calls for local businesses to join in the Halloween spirit. Participation not only contributes to the community festivity but also offers an opportunity for business promotion. Companies interested in partaking can reach out to the Main Street Office at 660-646-4071 or via email at events@downtownchilli.com. Preferences for placement during the event will be considered, and while there is no fee required to participate, donations to Main Street Chillicothe are accepted.
Participants are advised to bring a table for setup and are welcome to adorn their space with decorations and costumes, though these are optional. Treats should be prepared for an estimated crowd of 1,500 children. Businesses are also permitted to advertise with signs, table coverings, or promotional items, making the most of this community engagement opportunity.
