Macon woman and child injured in Highway 63 rollover near Atlanta

On August 21, 2024, at approximately 5:10 p.m., a single-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 63, one mile south of Atlanta, Missouri, resulting in injuries to the driver and a juvenile passenger.

The crash involved a 2012 Mercedes Benz driven by Andrea D. White, 38, of Macon, Missouri. The vehicle was traveling southbound when it ran off the roadway and overturned.

Injuries:

  • Andrea D. White, 38, of Macon, Missouri: Moderate injuries. Transported by Macon County Ambulance to Samaritan Hospital.
  • Juvenile, 13, of Macon, Missouri: Minor injuries. Transported by private conveyance to Samaritan Hospital.

The 2012 Mercedes Benz sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Still’s Towing.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Macon County Rescue Squad, and Macon County First Responders.
