The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department has released the following incident reports and arrest details:

Incident Reports

August 3rd
Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle traveling 91 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on Highway 36 near LIV 249. The vehicle fled south on LIV 251 from Highway 36 and eventually crashed into a ditch on LIV 240. The investigation led to the arrest of Lane McCoy, 18, of Chillicothe, for resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child, as a juvenile was found in the vehicle at the time. McCoy was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center, and an arrest warrant was issued by the Livingston County Court.

August 11th
The LCSO responded to 3rd Street Bottoms regarding a reported kidnapping attempt. The investigation revealed that the incident was a prank devised by juveniles. The juveniles and their parents were counseled on the seriousness of falsely reporting such occurrences.

August 14th
The LCSO took a report of a potential scam occurring through social media. The reporting party shared explicit images with an unknown individual, who then threatened to blackmail the reporting party if $300 was not sent. The unknown person was subsequently blocked, and the reporting party requested that a report be kept on file.

August 15th
Deputies responded to the 3000 block of LIV 408 in Mooresville concerning an individual reported to be in crisis. Deputies were able to contact the individual, who was found to be okay. A report was completed to provide further resources and assistance to the person.

August 15th
The LCSO received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 10000 block of LIV 271 in Wheeling. The keys to the vehicle, a black Pontiac Grand Prix with front-end damage (Missouri Registration JK2Z0S), were reportedly left in the front seat. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrests

August 11th
Nathan Nozime, 34, of Brookfield, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Highway 65 near Highway 36. Nozime was processed and released on a summons to appear in Livingston County Court.

August 12th
Elinor Lopez, 55, of Chillicothe, was arrested in the 500 block of Jackson Street in Chillicothe on a Livingston County arrest warrant for Harassment in the 1st Degree. Lopez was unable to post a $5,000 cash bond and was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center to await a court appearance on Case # 24LV-CR00395.

August 2nd
Christy Cullen, 58, of Mooresville, was issued a citation for traveling 82 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on Highway 36 at Highway 65.

August 3rd
Lynsie Vanderheide, 35, of Illinois, was issued a citation for traveling 85 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on Highway 36 at LIV 261.

August 7th
Christopher Brannam, 42, of Mooresville, was issued a citation for traveling 101 MPH in a 60 MPH zone on Highway 65 near LIV 206.

August 7th
Sarah Pegelow, 25, of Chillicothe, was issued a citation for traveling 87 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on Highway 36 near LIV 403.

August 13th
Ernest Trammell, 48, of Indiana, was issued a citation for traveling 83 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on Highway 36 near LIV 255.

August 13th
Samuel Willig, 22, of Kansas City, was issued a citation for traveling 85 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on Highway 36 near LIV 255.

August 13th
Daniel Gebray, 43, of Texas, was issued a citation for traveling 83 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on Highway 36 near the Linn/Livingston County Line.
