The Livingston County Library is hosting an Open Sewing Lab for adults on Tuesday, October 23 from 3 to 6 pm.
The library sewing machines will be set up for public use in a drop-in style program, however, you must bring your own fabric or project to work on, but the library will provide other basic sewing/quilting supplies, including scissors, irons and ironing boards, pins, fabric markers, rotary cutters and mats, rulers.
A few basic thread colors will be available, but beyond that, you would need to bring your own thread as well. A staff member will be on hand for basic questions and machine troubleshooting, but no formal instruction will be offered.
