Another candidate has entered the race in Grundy County for the August 6 primary election. Incumbent Nathan Curtis of Trenton has filed for the position of Assessor on the Republican ticket.
Previous filings in Grundy County have seen Incumbent Don Sager and Kevin Ireland vying for the role of First District Commissioner, while Bryan Johnson and incumbent Brad Chumbley compete for Second District Commissioner. Other incumbents seeking re-election include Dewayne Slater for Coroner, Adria Moore for Public Administrator, and Rodney Herring for Sheriff.
The deadline for filing candidacy for the August 6 primary election is March 26 at 5 p.m.
