The Chillicothe Kiwanis Club Kids Parade is set to take place next month, offering a fun and free event for local children and families.
Registration for the parade will begin at 9 a.m. on September 21st on the north side of the courthouse in Chillicothe. The parade is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and will travel to the Strand Apartments and back. No motor vehicles will be allowed in the parade, except for law enforcement leading the way and the fire department following behind.
Participants are encouraged to dress up and will have the opportunity to win prizes. Prizes will be awarded in several categories, including individuals for boys and girls, groups of two or three, and groups of four or more.
In addition to the parade, ice cream will be provided for all participants.
