A truck driver from Kansas was injured this morning, according to the highway patrol, when he lost control on an icy bridge floor near Bethany causing the northbound truck to go off the east side of I-35 and overturn onto the driver’s side.
Fifty-five-year-old Mack Terrapin of Alma, Kansas was taken by ambulance to the Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany with minor injuries.
The patrol reports Terrapin was using a seat belt, with the Mack truck demolished in the accident 2:45 am about a quarter mile north of Bethany.
