The Boone County Sheriff’s Office reports a 15-year-old suspect was taken into custody on February 27 for the murder of 25-year-old Malik Jones of Macon. Due to the suspect being a juvenile, authorities will not release any further information on the suspect or charges.
The investigation is ongoing, and no other information about the investigation will be released at this time.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office previously reported that a deceased body had been found in the 6100 block of Creasy Springs Road North on February 7. Deputies responded and discovered Malik’s body, who had been reported to the Macon Police Department as missing.
