Judy Lynn Cookson, age 70, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Milan Health Care Center in Milan, Missouri.
Judy was born on November 11, 1953. To Paul and Opal (Withrow) Schultz in Hannibal, Missouri. She is survived by: Three children, Carla Sheppard of Denton, Texas, Chris Sheppard of Longview, Texas, and Carl Sheppard of Tupelo, Mississippi; 6 Grandchildren, Savanna Sheppard, Mason Robbins, Kade Robbins, Chloe Sheppard, Madelyn Sheppard, and Harper Sheppard; Siblings, Ruby Long of Hannibal and Bobby Schultz of Hannibal; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Her parents, husband, Carl Cookson, and three siblings Larry Schultz, Charles Schultz, and Sandy Schultz.
Judy grew up in Hannibal. She gave her life to raising children, attending church, and loving the Lord.
A service for Judy will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, July 22, 2024, at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan, Missouri. A visitation will be held a half hour before the service, starting at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.
