Jeep overturns on wet Highway E injuring Chillicothe woman

A single-vehicle accident involving a 1999 Jeep utility vehicle occurred on Highway E, approximately five miles southeast of Princeton, Missouri, at 6:10 p.m. on April 1, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The driver, identified as 30-year-old Lindsey B. Fox of Chillicothe, Missouri, sustained minor injuries in the mishap.

The accident report detailed that the Jeep was traveling eastbound on Highway E when Fox began to lose control due to the wet roadway conditions. The vehicle veered off the north side of the road and overturned, coming to rest on its tires, facing south.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, assisted by Sergeant D. P. Little, reported that the Jeep sustained moderate damage but was secured at the scene.

Fox was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. She was transported by Mercer County EMS to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment.
