Independent Cattlemen of Missouri annual meeting set for Sept. 14 in Trenton

The Independent Cattlemen of Missouri is set to hold its third annual meeting and brisket dinner banquet on September 14, 2024, at the Black Silo Winery located at 4030 East 10th St., Trenton, MO 64683. The event is open to both members and non-members of ICOM, offering a unique opportunity for cattle and beef industry professionals to network and discuss the future of the industry.

The evening will commence with a business meeting at 4:30 p.m., followed by a trade show and social hour at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will then enjoy a dinner at 6:30 p.m., provided by the Independent Cattlemen of Missouri. Two guest speakers are scheduled for the event: Dr. Max Thornsbury, DVM, who will speak at 7:00 p.m., and Shad Sullivan, a Fox correspondent, scheduled to speak at 8:00 p.m.

After the dinner and presentations, the trade show and social hour will resume at 7:30 p.m., offering additional time for networking and industry discussions. The evening will conclude with a raffle drawing and live auction starting at 8:30 p.m. Premium items to be raffled include a Remington rifle, a Henry rifle, an Xpedite crossbow, a Crimson Trace scope, and binoculars. The live auction will feature items such as an Itadel 9mm handgun, brush line scopes, a case knife, and other valuable equipment.
