Highway patrol reports two arrests; one detained on immigration violation

The highway patrol reports the arrest of an Ankeny, Iowa resident early Sunday in Sullivan County.

Forty-one-year-old Valente Ramos Duran was accused of speeding, not having a valid license, and an immigration violation: deported aggravated felon.  Duran was taken to the Sullivan County Jail for the violations and was held for U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

A Grant City resident, 38-year-old Jesse Fletchall, was taken into custody Saturday afternoon in Gentry County and accused of felony driving while intoxicated, as well as driving in a careless and imprudent manner.

Fletchall was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.
