The Hickory Threshing and Tractor Show is set to take place next week, providing a day full of activities and demonstrations for attendees. The event, which is free to the public, will be held in Hickory on August 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The show will feature threshing demonstrations at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m., giving visitors a glimpse into traditional farming methods. In addition to the threshing, there will also be baling and blacksmithing demonstrations. A tractor and small engine show will showcase a variety of machinery, adding to the event’s appeal.

Food vendors will be available on-site throughout the day, ensuring that attendees have access to refreshments. With no entry fees, the event is open to everyone interested in learning more about these historic agricultural practices.
