Three misdemeanor counts were filed Thursday in Daviess County Circuit Court alleging that the sheriff of Harrison County was involved in a February 26th incident.
Joshua Q. Eckerson has been accused of misuse of official information by a public servant, alleged trespass in the first degree and alleged domestic assault in the fourth degree. Each is a misdemeanor according to Missouri law with the highway patrol at St. Joseph is listed as the investigative agency.
Online docket information shows a summons was issued for Eckerson to appear in court at Gallatin on April 14th. The appearance is listed as an arraignment before Daviess County Associate Circuit Judge Daren Adkins.
