The “Guns & Hoses” softball game fundraiser is set to take place on September 14th at 11:00 am at Johnson Field, located within the Ebbe Sports Complex. This family-friendly event will feature a thrilling matchup between local fire and law enforcement teams, aiming to foster community spirit and raise funds for area youth organizations.
Attendees can look forward to a day filled with exciting activities, including a gun raffle and a 50/50 raffle. The gun raffle will feature a Savage Arms Axis II XP rifle with a .243 caliber and a 3-9x40mm Bushnell scope. Tickets for the raffle are available for a $10 donation per ticket or $25 for three tickets. Participants must be 18 or older and pass a background check to claim the prize. The drawing for the raffle will be held during the softball game on September 14th, but winners do not need to be present to win.
In addition to the raffles, concessions will be available, making it an enjoyable day out for families. Proceeds from the event will benefit local youth organizations, underscoring the community’s commitment to supporting its younger members.
Tickets for the game can be obtained at The Police Department, the Fire Department, and at the game on September 14th.
