Including receipts received for August, Grundy County sales tax collections this year have topped $386,000 in each of three funds.
After eight months, the sales tax figures are nearly $15,000 ahead of where they were at this time last year.
The receipts for August show that each fund received sales tax amounts of more than $45,000. The three funds in Grundy County are designated for law enforcement, general revenue, and county revenue, which includes funding for the ambulance department.
